Big up to the writers of The Big Bang Theory who are headed by Chuck Lorre, Bill Prady and Steven Molaro. In my opinion they’re streaking ahead in the field of comedy writing at the moment. Here is a list of great one liners, which I’m going to keep adding to.

Amy: “Do you have any ethical qualms regarding human experimentation?”
Sheldon: “It’s one of the few forms of interactions with people that I don’t find repellent.”

Sheldon: ”Woman, you’re playing with forces beyond your ken.”
Penny: “Yeah, well your Ken can kiss my Barbie!”

Stuart: “You can throw all the French around you want, it doesn’t make you right.”
Sheldon: “Au contraire.”

Leonard to Sheldon: “Sometimes your movements are so lifelike, I forget you’re not a real boy.”

Amy: “Let’s look at this logically. I have a stomach, I get hungry. I have genitals, I have the potential for sexual arousal.”
Sheldon: “A cross we all must bear.”

Howard about Sheldon: “Ever notice when he thinks real hard it smells like bacon?”

Sheldon to Penny: “When I try to deceive, I myself have more nervous tics than a Lyme disease research facility.”

Howard to Sheldon: “If you were a robot and I knew, but you didn’t, would you want me to tell you?”

Howard’s advice to Leonard on what tips to give Stuart for dating Penny so it doesn’t go well: “Just tell him to do everything you’ve done with her for the last two years”

Penny: “Come on, Sheldon, you can’t move. Don’t you need to stay in one place so the mothership can find you when it returns?”
Sheldon: “Oh, if that were only true.”

Leonard to Sheldon when Amy has gone for a coffee with Stuart: “Are you OK?”
Sheldon: “Leonard, I am on a lifelong trajectory that includes a Nobel prize and cities named after me. All four wisdom teeth fit comfortably in my mouth without need of extraction, and my bowel movements run like a German train schedule. Am I OK?”
